On July 28, 2025, Galgotias University hosted an esteemed delegation from the UAE–India CEPA Council for the official signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at fostering international collaboration within the startup ecosystem. This strategic partnership is designed to identify and support high-potential startups from the Galgotias Incubation Centre for Research Innovation Startups & Entrepreneurs (GICRISE) and its alumni network, connecting them with investors, mentors, and growth opportunities in the United Arab Emirates under the UAE–India Startup Series.
The delegation was led by Mr. Ahmed Aljneibi, Director of the UAE–India CEPA Council, accompanied by Ms. Laetitia Bruce Warjri, Director of Partnerships and Stakeholder Engagement and Mr. Abhishek Ranjan, Chief of Staff. They were warmly welcomed by Hon’ble CEO of Galgotias University, Dr. Dhruv Galgotia, along with key members of the GICRISE team.
The MoU outlines key areas of collaboration, including startup identification, branding, and visibility. GICRISE will leverage its incubation ecosystem and alumni base to identify startups with strong market traction and global potential. These startups will be promoted for inclusion in the UAE–India Startup Series.
