The event provided an excellent platform for young innovators and aspiring entrepreneurs to present their innovative ideas before an eminent jury panel comprising experts from industry, technology and the innovation ecosystem. The Hackathon focused on six key themes: Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency, Robotics & Automation, Automotive Technology, Industry 4.0 & 5.0, and Other Frontier Technologies. The participants showcased innovative solutions addressing contemporary industrial and societal challenges.

Under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble CEO of Galgotias Education Group, Dr. Dhruv Galgotia, Galgotias University, as a Host Institute of MSME, successfully organised the MSME Hackathon 6.0 Pitching Session on 24th August 2026. The event served as a dynamic platform for aspiring innovators, entrepreneurs and young technologists to present their innovative ideas and technology-driven solutions before an eminent panel of experts from diverse domains.

The initiative reflected the strong commitment of Galgotias University towards promoting innovation, entrepreneurship and technological excellence. The visionary leadership of Dr. Dhruv Galgotia continues to inspire the university ecosystem to create meaningful opportunities for young innovators and contribute towards nation-building. His vision is closely aligned with the national vision of respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for Viksit Bharat@2047, which envisions a developed, self-reliant and technologically advanced India by the year 2047.

The MSME Hackathon 6.0 focused on encouraging innovative solutions across six important themes: Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency, Robotics & Automation, Automotive Technology, Industry 4.0 & 5.0, and Other Frontier Technologies. These themes represent some of the most significant areas shaping the future of industry, technology and sustainable development. The participating teams presented their ideas, prototypes and innovative business solutions, demonstrating their creativity, technical knowledge and entrepreneurial potential.

The pitching session provided participants with a valuable opportunity to communicate their problem statements, proposed solutions, innovation, scalability and potential societal or industrial impact. The teams were encouraged to develop solutions that could address real-world challenges while contributing to technological advancement, sustainability and economic growth. The interaction with experts also helped participants gain valuable perspectives on strengthening their innovations and preparing them for future implementation and commercialisation.

The event was further enriched by the presence of an esteemed jury comprising distinguished experts from academia, industry and the innovation ecosystem. The jury included Mr. Bala Prasad Peddigari, Vice Chair, IEEE Hyderabad Section; Mr. Kamaldeep Bansal, System Architect, STMicroelectronics; Dr. M.K. Kaushik, Director, Vishnu Venture Labs Foundation; Mr. Alok Govi, CEO, Geenovate Foundation; and Mr. Ravindra Yadav, CEO, ACIC GIETU Foundation. Their diverse expertise and extensive experience added immense value to the evaluation and mentoring process.

The jury members carefully assessed the participating teams on various parameters, including innovation, feasibility, technological relevance, potential impact and scalability. Their constructive feedback and expert insights motivated the participants to further refine their ideas and strengthen their entrepreneurial journey.

Overall, the MSME Hackathon 6.0 Pitching Session was a significant step towards fostering a vibrant culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among young minds.
