Galgotias Incubation Centre for Research Innovation Startup & Entrepreneurs (GICRISE) organized an insightful and highly engaging session titled “Startup Launchpad: Turning Ideas into Scalable Businesses” for the students of the iOS Development program. The session was delivered by Mr. Kamal Kishor Malhotra, CEO, GICRISE, who shared valuable insights on entrepreneurship, innovation, startup creation, and business scalability. The session aimed to inspire students to look beyond conventional career paths and explore entrepreneurship as a viable and impactful career option. GICRISE serves as the innovation and entrepreneurship hub of Galgotias University, supporting startups through incubation, mentorship, infrastructure, funding access, and ecosystem support.

During the session, Mr. Malhotra emphasized that every successful startup begins with identifying a real-world problem and developing a solution that creates measurable value for customers. He encouraged students to leverage their technical expertise in iOS development to build innovative products that address challenges across sectors such as healthcare, education, fintech, agriculture, mobility, and artificial intelligence. He explained that technology alone does not guarantee success; entrepreneurs must also understand customer needs, market demand, and business sustainability.

The speaker elaborated on the startup lifecycle, guiding students through the journey from Idea Validation, Proof of Concept (PoC), Minimum Viable Product (MVP), and Go-to-Market Strategy, to eventual business scaling. Students were introduced to practical methodologies such as customer discovery, market research, prototype testing, feedback collection, and iterative product development. He stressed the importance of validating assumptions before investing significant time and resources into product development.

An interactive question-and-answer session followed, where students actively discussed startup challenges, funding opportunities, technology commercialization, team building, and product-market fit.
